Purpose: Bacteriological incubators are used for the incubation of biological products under controlled conditions.

Standard Specification of Bacteriological Incubator:

2. Controller: Microprocessor based PID temperature controller with a dual display of set value & process value for precise control of temperature.

3. Insulation: High density 3” thick Glass wool/ mineral wool insulation between inner & outer wall.

5. Temperature range:  5ᵒC above ambient to 60 ᵒC.

6. Temperature accuracy in °C:  ± 0.5 °C.

7. Temperature uniformity in °C.: ±2ᵒC.

8. Heating System: Heating is done by U shaped tubular air heaters.

9. Temperature sensor: PT-100 temperature sensor is used for sensing the temperature.

10. Material of inner chamber: Stainless steel 304.

11. Material of outer body: Mild steel furnished with epoxy powder coating.

12. Type of shelves/Tray: Removable.

13. Material of shelves: Stainless steel wire mesh.

14. Door: Insulated door and fitted with heavy hinges and should have double glass window.

15. Operator can have full view of the samples in the chamber without disrupting the culture condition.

16. Air circulation: Air circulation is mandatory to spread uniform temperature inside the chamber for this we use axial fans or motorized blower system.

17. Power Supply: 220 V, 50 Hz Single Phases.
