Purpose: High Temperature Oven is commonly used for dry heat sterilization which is a method of controlling micro-organisms.

Standard Specifications of High Temperature Oven:

1. Material of outer body: Mild steel furnished with epoxy powder coating.

2. Material of inner chamber: Stainless steel 304.

3. Insulation: 3” thick glass wool/mineral wool/ceramic wool/rack wool insulation between inner & outer wall.

4. Type of Display: LED display.

5. Temperature range:  5ᵒC above ambient to 330ᵒC.

6. Temperature accuracy in °C:  ± 3°C.

7. Temperature uniformity in °C.: ±5ᵒC.

8. Temperature sensor: PT-100 temperature sensor is used for sensing the temperature.

9. Heating System: Heating is done by U shaped tubular air heaters.

10. Controller: Microprocessor based PID control.

11. Air circulation: Air circulation is mandatory to spread uniform temperature inside the chamber for this we use axial fans or motorized blower system.

12. Type of shelves/Tray: Removable.

13. Ventilator: Placed on the top of both side.

14. Material of shelves: Stainless steel wire mesh.

15. Door: Insulated double walled door and fitted with heavy hinges.

16. Length of power cord fitted with compatible Indian plug in meters: 2.5 meters.

17. Power Supply: 220 V, 50 Hz Single Phases with Indian plug.
